Workshop of the KOHODO-UNSW joint hydrogen research industrialization

On the afternoon of March 5, the workshop on the industrialization plan of hydrogen energy joint research project of Kohodo and UNSW was successfully held in Kohodo plaza as scheduled. The purpose was to strengthen the technical exchange and cooperation between the university and the enterprise, and promote the industrialization of the joint research projects of hydrogen energy.

Director of International Cooperation Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Mr. Tan Mo, Director General of Science and Technology Innovation Bureau in Longhua District, Chen Weiwen, Director of corporate affairs UNSW, Warrick Dawson, Chemistry School of UNSW, Prof. Zhao Chuan, Researcher from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Gao Hongshuai, Vice General Manager of Dongfeng Furui New Energy Automobile co. LTD, Xiao Xihe, and General Manager Assistant Caixin and Marketing Director Dinglei of Furuise participated in the workshop. GM of Kohodo Hydrogen Energy Kevin Chen, Vice President Chen Yaowu and Chen Kaibo joined the workshop.

At the meeting, Kevin Chen expressed his gratitude to the guests and clarified the purpose of the meeting. He hoped that all parties could send support and pool their wisdom to jointly promote the industrialization of hydrogen energy projects. After listening to the introduction of hydrogen energy project by the project team, professor Zhaochuan, inventor of electrolytic water hydrogen technology, briefly introduced the main project of the research team, made a brief analysis of the current energy market and the market prospect of hydrogen energy, and expressed his optimism about the future development and market of the project.

Subsequently, Director Chen Weiwen in his speech gave credit on the growth and achievements of Kohodo Hydrogen Energy and said the Longhua government attaches great importance to the development of the local new energy industry, and will vigorously support the development of enterprises.

The seminar discussed the establishment of the joint research institute of hydrogen energy, the construction of two demonstration projects of the research institute, the operation of HRS withon-site generation and the demonstration project of urban green freight distribution. Representatives of all parties expressed their opinions and suggestions on the development of the project and reached preliminary consensus. During the discussion, Director Warwick Dawson, introduced the current status of UNSW and the bilateral cooperation as well as the significance. He stressed that China-Australia joint R&D projects would bring huge benefit for future environmental protection and economic development, and UNSW would continue to work with Kohodo further in the next stage of hydrogen energy research and development cooperation, jointly promoting the hydrogen energy projects.
